Station overtime ban announced

Dear Colleagues,

DEFENDING JOBS, PENSIONS & AGREEMENTS - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/148/23, 24th May 2023), I wrote to LUL seeking talks in an effort to make progress over this dispute and in particular, the new rosters and staffing cuts which have been imposed on stations leading to unprecedented levels of station closures and a deterioration of members' work life balance. The clear need for full and proper station staffing has been further highlighted by recent serious assaults on station staff.

TUC emergency protest - defend the right to strike

TUC EMERGENCY PROTEST - Protect the Right to Strike! Mon 22nd May 6pm - Parliament Square

Rishi Sunak wants to take away our right to strike. The Tories are forcing their anti-union “sack key workers bill” through parliament as quickly as they can. It means that when you democratically vote to strike, you could be forced to work and sacked if you don't.

These new laws are a direct attack on our fundamental right to strike to defend our pay, terms and conditions. We need to stop this bill.

Join the emergency protest in Parliament Square on Monday 22nd May at 6pm
