Tube maintenance workers reject Night Tube pay offer

Further to my previous Circular (IR/029/16, 5th February 2016) the meeting with Tube Lines Reps, the Senior Assistant General Secretary, National Executive Committee and Lead Officer took place at Unity House on Tuesday 23rd February to discuss Pay, Night Tube and Pensions.

Tube members vote to accept Pay and Night Tube offer

Tube union RMT has confirmed today that a referendum ballot of members across London Underground over the most recent offer from the company on pay and night tube has recorded an overwhelming vote for acceptance.

The ballot recorded a vote of  84 % in favour.

General Secretary Mick Cash said:

“I want to pay tribute to RMT’s members across London Underground who have stood rock solid throughout the long campaign of industrial pressure to secure a fair deal from the company over pay and night tube operation.

RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2015 – INTERSERVE FACILITIES (KEOLIS AMEY DOCKLANDS CONTRACT) (DLR/0001/I(KAD))
 
Further to my previous Circular (IR/321/15, 23rd December 2015), the industrial action was suspended and the offer received from the Company was due to be discussed at a DLR Branch meeting. This Branch meeting has now taken place and the matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee, which has noted the correspondence on file and that the Company has been informed of our acceptance of the offer.
 

RMT to hold referendum over tube pay and Night Tube offer

RMT to ballot London Underground staff over pay and Night Tube offer with recommendation to accept

Tube union RMT has confirmed today that it will be conducting a referendum ballot of members across London Underground over the latest offer from the company on pay and night tube.

The ballot will open on the 11th February and the union executive is recommending acceptance of the offer.

London Underground Fleet members to be balloted over pensions dispute

Dear Colleagues,

TUBE LINES – ACTION ON PENSIONS

Please find below a resolution submitted by the LU Fleet Branch:

“The feeling of the members regarding parity of pensions has gone on for far too long. We feel the time is right to ballot all Tube Lines members on the pensions issue.

We strongly believe that no agreement should be implemented on Pay or Night Tube until this long standing issue is resolved. (No Pensions, No Night Tube).

Meeting to discuss tube dispute offer

Following talks at ACAS yesterday, a revised offer has been received from London Underground in respect of Pay & Night Running and also Fit for the Future Stations.  

This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee and they have instructed me to organise a meeting for all RMT Industrial Reps to discuss these developments in the above long-running disputes. Although paid release has not as yet been agreed, you are urged to make every effort to attend as your views are essential.
