RE-GRADING OF WATERLOO & CITY LINE SERVICE CONTROL STAFF – LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/2/2)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/150/15, 15th June 2015), members will recall our offer to London Underground to return to ACAS to seek a binding agreement to progress our claim that Service Controllers at Waterloo should be re-graded and paid at the SCL1 rate in recognition of their hard work and multi-skilled duties. However, LUL’s position remains unchanged that it considers the current pay and grade for the role to be correct, and that a re-grade is dependent on additional duties and accountability being identified and implemented.

Upfront Newsletter: August 2015

Members of all unions once again showed the power of united action with another magnificent display of strength during the last strike. The all-grades overtime ban is hitting LUL hard and we have seen proof of this on their central target board. It has more red crosses than a game of Celebrity Squares with actual lost customer hours almost double the target. Lost hours caused through the Fleet overtime ban are 15 times higher than the target!

Why are we taking action?

Solidarity wins - More strikes for a better deal!

The historic United strike by RMT, ASLEF, TSSA & UNITE show all tube workers are determined to fight for a fair deal on Pay & Night Tube.

RMT,ASLEF, TSSA &UNITE - Unity delivers total shutdown.

We won't accept imposition of rosters that destroy work/life balance.The latest offer has nothing new and has no improvements at all.3 out of 4 unions have named more ation.

All 4 Unions in solidarity will win a decent settlement.

RMT DEMANDS;

No member forced to work more nights or weekends than on current rosters Volunteers who work extra nights or weekends should get extra time off.
