As officers of the London Transport Regional Council of the RMT, we extend our full support and solidarity to IWGB members at the University of London, striking on 6 June to demand an end to outsourcing.

RMT cleaners, security staff and travel safe officers on Docklands Light Railway will be taking part in a further phase of strike action over a comprehensive breakdown in industrial relations, the union confirmed today, as the intransigent attitude of the management continues to refuse to meet and negotiate a settlement.

We note the report from our Lead Officer that the company have failed to address our concerns around chronic understaffing, lack of resources, draconian use of the attendance procedures, obstruction of our representative trades union duties, undue pressure upon our Drivers from Service Control managers and managements failure to honour a number of commitments given during previous disputes; especially relating to stock, training and SPAD management.
