Tube bosses have failed to offer an acceptable pay increase

NEGOTIATING MEETINGS - FIVE MONTHS OF DISCUSSION - NO ACCEPTABLE OFFER!

Dear Colleague,

Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2019 - London Underground (including Ex Tubelines Staff)

Since the 9th January your negotiation team Lead Officer John Leach and myself have been attempting to negotiate a fair increase to your rate of pay that recognises the contribution you have made to keeping the Tube, and indeed London running.

RMT to fight plan to privatise Tube waste collection

Tube union RMT said today that it will fight tooth and nail plans unveiled by London Underground to shunt out waste collection services to the private sector as part of the “Transformation Programme” of creeping cuts and privatisation being overseen by Labour Mayor Sadiq Khan.

RMT has been told that as well as an expected torrent of job cuts Tranformation will also involve privatising bin collection and transportation in the outer area from Zone 3 – flying in the face of assurances from Mayor Khan that there would be no extension of privatisation on his watch as London Mayor.

RMT set out clear demand for a pay deal that reflects the growing workload and pressures on all tube staff

On eve of pay talks RMT demands fair deal for all Tube workers

On the eve of pay talks tomorrow tube union RMT has set out a clear demand for a deal that reflects the growing workload and pressures on all tube staff who are central to delivering a transport system that even the Tories and the business lobby accept is a major contributory factor to the wealth of the capital city.

When off sick here’s our advice: don’t call me I’ll call you!

An agreement from SFC dated 2005

Whilst LUL managers may deny these agreements there’s no doubt they exist.

They just don’t like sharing.

The SFC 2019 have, at the request of our reps, re-issued the following advice.

It’s important we make them stick to agreements made with the RMT

Red Tabards: real issue is lack of staff, not lack of visibility

The RMT's Regional Organiser John Leach has written to London Underground to highlight our ongoing concerns about red tabards following an article in LU's propoganda magazine 'On The Move.'

John Leach wrote to remind tube bosses that we remain in dispute and to request a meeting about claims made in the article.

RMT calls on members to mobilise against Trump

STOP TRUMP COALITION - CARNIVAL OF RESISTANCE - Demo 4th June 2019

Dear colleagues,

Donald Trump is visiting the UK from 3rd to 5th June - and RMT is calling on its members to mobilise for a national demonstration on Tuesday 4th June against his politics of racism, war and hate.

The Stop Trump Coalition is a network of grassroots campaigns, unions, NGOs and politicians which came together in February 2017. When Trump visited the UK last year, 250,000 people marched in London and another 150,000 joined protests around the UK.
