DEFENDING JOBS, PENSIONS & AGREEMENTS - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/108/24, 3rd April 2024), I received reports that LUL management intended to impose new rosters on members working in the LU Power Control Room, which would see only four staff per shift rather than the current six per shift. The National Executive Committee considered a report received from the Lead Officer and is concerned that London Underground management see fit to propose new rosters, threaten to implement them and then not implement them, leaving members unsure of their futures.

The NEC has therefore taken the decision to instruct all LUL Power Control Room Operators to take part in a 4-week overtime and rest day working ban from 00:01 hours on Thursday 18th July 2024 until 23:59 hours on Wednesday 14th August 2024.
