What is a National Executive Committee decision?
This article is an 'executive decision' which has been written by the RMT National Executive Committee. The National Executive is the union's governing body in between AGMs. Its decisions set out what the union will do on a particular issue.

RMT General Grades Committee decision:
We note the correspondence from our Bakerloo branch, and the report now received from our lead officer on talks with London Underground about the use of agency and security staff, at which our representatives pressed the company to replace the use of agency staff and security guards with permanent, directly-employed jobs on LU’s ex-Silverlink stations.
We are disappointed to see that London Underground continues to act in breach of the settlement of our 2008 Casualisation dispute, as it has also done on the issue of minimum station staffing levels.
We therefore merge this file with the file LONDON UNDERGROUND LTD’S BREACHES OF CASUALISATION DISPUTE SETTLEMENT, and instruct the General Secretary to raise this and any other breaches at the talks at ACAS requested in our decision on that issue today.
