RMT Demand Redeployment Freeze

The RMT have written to London Underground and TfL demanding a freeze on redeployment.

We have a number of RMT members who are in the redeployment pool, with the clock ticking down for them to find a new role within 13 weeks.

However, LU & TfL are currently going through Transformation, with a huge number of jobs set to be lost across both companies. It has also been brought to our attention that some roles being advertised are now subject to Transformation.

It would be completely unfair if the companies were not to stop the clock on those looking for new roles in the redeployment pool. It is only right that staff should be allowed a proper opportunity to look for a new role and this cannot be done whilst Transformation is ongoing
