CALCULATION OF HOLIDAY PAY - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/9/8)
When I last wrote to you on the above matter, Circular No: IR/416/20, 16th October 2020, branches will recall the union is awaiting a Supreme Court ruling that would have a significant bearing on this matter. Members' cases were to be brought but for there to be a stay in their proceeding until the Supreme Court's ruling is announced.

Briefings with London Labour supporters over Justice for Tube Cleaners
I wanted to report back on the latest in our campaign to secure the insourcing of our members who work to keep the Underground clean. With the current contract with ABM coming to an end, RMT has been stepping up political campaigning among campaign supporters in the labour and trade union movement.
MATS FUNCTIONAL COUNCIL REPRESENTATION, TUBELINES GRADES - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/20/2)
The Lead Officer recently submitted a report regarding LUL's intention to remove members from the TubeLines Machinery and place them into the MATS Council for the purpose of collective bargaining. This move follows the reorganisation of grades covered by both the LUL Machinery of Negotiation and also the TubeLines Machinery of Negotiation, but has not been agreed by RMT.
IMPOSITION OF ROSTER, SCL2s, HAMMERSMITH SERVICE CONTROL CENTRE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/8/2)
The Lead Officer recently submitted a report as, despite the best efforts of our RMT Reps to reach a negotiated settlement, management have proceeded to impose a new roster, which is due to be implemented in March 2021, affecting members on the Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City Lines at Hammersmith Service Control Centre.

INDEPENDENT PANEL REVIEW - TRANSPORT FOR LONDON
TfL recently released the full report from the Independent Panel Review, commissioned by the Mayor, which focuses on increased funding and cost-savings. RMT attended a meeting regarding the report and the Union has already made it clear to TfL that this review is an attack on staff.
INTRODUCTION OF MOBILE DEVICES, CLEANERS - ABM (LUL/27/2)
Further to my previous Circular (IR/339/20, 27th August 2020), the Lead Officer has had discussions with ABM over its introduction of mobile devices and I am pleased to advise that following these talks, a number of important assurances and protections have been secured for members, including:-
TRANSPORT UNION RMT has revealed today that the Government proposes savage cuts on London Underground and Overground in spite of the high productivity levels of its workers.
The proposed cuts are part of an austerity package being demanded by the Government in exchange for a 6 month period of ‘workplace reform’ including a return to the idea of ‘driverless trains’ and an attack on workers’ pension schemes.
