Reballot in Transplant pay parity dispute as fightback continues

subject: PAY PARITY, TRANSPLANT MAINTENANCE/STORES STAFF – LONDON UNDERGROUND (ex-AP JNP)

We note the report from our Lead Officer that this dispute remains unresolved and the ballot mandate expires on 6th June 2018.

We therefore instruct the General Secretary to advise the company we remain in dispute and immediately re-ballot the following Transplant Members for Industrial Actions:

Maintenance Members

Performance Managers, Technical Managers, Maintenance Duty Managers, Team Leader, Advanced Train Maintainers, Train Maintainers.

DLR pay offer referendum to be held

RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2018 - KEOLIS AMEY DOCKLANDS (DLR/0001/KAD)

In line with Union policy, a pay claim for an increase in pay and improved terms and conditions was submitted to the company. The Regional Organiser has met with them and the following offer has been tabled:-

RPI + 0.25% or 2% (whichever is higher) for 5 years (1st April 2018 to 1st April 2022)

RPI + 0.5% for employees with a salary under £30,000 for either the full 5 years or until they meet the £30,000 threshold

RMT accept offer following 'S04 grade, Earls Court Signallers' negotiations

Subject: PAY & CONDITIONS SO4 GRADE SIGNALLERS EARLS COURT LONDON UNDERGROUND

We note and adopt the report from our Southern Sub-Committee: “We note the final position & offer from the company and the recommendation advice from the Lead Officer and our Service Control Functional Council Representatives on the company’s offer following a consultation meeting with members.

Accordingly, we congratulate our negotiations team and instruct the General Secretary to write to London Underground informing the company of our acceptance of the offer”.

Industrial action called in pay parity dispute

PAY PARITY, TRANSPLANT MAINTENANCE & STORES STAFF – LONDON UNDERGROUND (EX-AP JNP) 

We note the report from our Lead Officer who has consulted directly with our members and representative; that the talks with the company have not reached a satisfactory outcome. WeWinstruct our member to take the following Industrial Action Short of a Strike commencing at 00:01 on Wednesday 14th February 2018 in the form of:

RMT members to strike on DLR on New Year’s Eve over breakdown in industrial relations

RMT cleaners, security staff and travel safe officers on Docklands Light Railway will be taking strike action on New Year’s Eve over a comprehensive breakdown in industrial relations. The workers are employed by contractor ISS on the KAD contract.

The dispute has arisen over the failure to hold meaningful pay talks or provide a proper response to the union’s pay claim and the failure to resolve long standing issues.

RMT members working for ISS (KAD Contract) are instructed to not to book on for any turns of duty that commence between:-

Subject: TRAIN PREPARATION PAYMENTS, TRANSPLANT MAINTENANCE STAFF – LONDON UNDERGROUND (ex-AP JNP)

We note the letter from the company.

We instruct the General Secretary to suspend all industrial action in light of scheduled talks in the new year.

Further, we instruct the General Secretary to place a report back on progress in scheduled talks in front of this NEC no later than the third week in January 2018.
