Ahead of further strike action, RMT seeks urgent clarification on Deputy Mayor’s claim that “It is not the case that drivers will have to work a night shift”

TUBE UNION RMT has today written to London Mayor Sadiq Khan seeking urgent clarification of comments made by Deputy Mayor Seb Dance on Monday in which he clearly stated that “It is not the case that drivers will have to work a night shift” and that “where a [Night Tube] driver wants to swap a night shift for a day shift that will be possible”.

Night Tube strike continues as LU block ACAS progress

Next phase of Night ‎Tube strike action goes ahead as LU block progress at ACAS this week

LONDON TRANSPORT UNION RMT said today that the next phase of Night Tube strike action goes ahead from the evening through to the early hours of Sunday after LU bosses blocked an attempt by RMT negotiators to make progress in ACAS talks this week.

Night Tube strike back on from tomorrow

RMT confirms further strike action goes ahead on Night Tube from tomorrow through to the summer.

TUBE UNION RMT today confirmed strike action goes ahead every weekend on the Night Tube from tomorrow through to June in an on-going fight to prevent the ripping up of staffing arrangements that would wreck the work life balance of drivers.

RMT members on the Central and Victoria Lines will be taking strike action as follows:

Night Tube dispute: RMT calls on mayor to act

As Night Tube action goes ahead again this evening RMT calls on Mayor to step in and resolve escalating disputes on London Underground

RMT General Secretary Mick Lynch has today written to the Mayor of London calling on him to use his political leadership to resolve the bitter dispute over the Night Tube and reverse station staff job cuts that risk the future of the Underground.

LU bosses concede RMT position on Night Tube 'cost neutral'

RMT says the ball’s in London Underground’s court at today’s ACAS talks as solid strikes follow company rejection of union offer.

Ahead of more ACAS talks taking place today, RMT has called on London Underground managers to abandon their intransigent stance after another night of strike action over the Night Tube dispute.

Friday’s strike action, which the union described as rock solid, took place after London Underground managers rejected an offer from the union that would have allowed the action to be suspended.
