BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, VICTORIA LINE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

I advised you previously that the NEC had instructed me to obtain a report from the Regional Organiser with regards to the local meetings that were taking place that would hopefully resolve this dispute over the need to improve working relationships between RMT members and Victoria Line management (Ref: IR/399/19, 2nd October 2019).

The Regional Organiser has provided this report which has gone before the National Executive Committee, noting that, despite the industrial action being suspended, our members continue to face London Underground's inability to manage its own lower echelons of management and keep its house in order.

The NEC has therefore instructed me to arrange an urgent meeting of both the Victoria Line Drivers IR and H&S representatives with the Regional Organiser, the Senior Assistant General Secretary and the NEC. I will keep you advised as to the outcome of these discussions in due course.
