Young Members Course to be held at the AGM in Isle of Man Sunday 29nd June to Friday 3rd July 2009

I am pleased to advise you that the Union will be holding a one week Young Representatives Course at this years’ AGM.

Members wishing to attend should be under 30 years of age. The course will deal with: -

• How the Union works
• Young Members in the Union
• Representative Training
• The Union Learning Fund
• The Role of the AGM
• Becoming active in the union

Participants will be able to see, at first hand, the governing body of the Union.

Members will be paid for loss of earnings plus travel expenses, subject to agreement. Accommodation (full board) is available, on request.

Please complete the attached application form. The closing date for applications is Monday 30th March 2009.

Please note members who have attended a young member’s course at an AGM will not be eligible.
