RMT on Parsons Green station explosion
General Secretary Mick Cash said;
"RMT is aware of the incident at Parsons Green this morning and the unions safety reps are awaiting further facts from London Underground. The union is supporting our members at this time.
"The incident shows once again that tube staff are the first responders in emergency situations and the clear need for safety and security to remain the number one priority and for the resources and staffing to be in place to deal with all eventualities."

RAIL union RMT has congratulated its members for the way they dealt with the recent power outages across the rail network.
RMT members working at East Midlands Railway (EMR) will take further strike action tomorrow (Saturday August 8) after the company sent out yet another faulty train this week.
Cleaners on Merseyrail employed by outsourcing firm Churchill Services will take 24-hour strike action against low pay from Friday (tomorrow) to Saturday (August 8).
RMT has rejected plans to introduce Driver Only Operation (DOO) on the new East West Rail line following confirmation that Chiltern Railways intends to operate services on the new route without a second safety-critical member of staff, despite RMT’s long-standing opposition to DOO.
