What is a National Executive Committee decision?

Mass meeting to be called to discuss Tube pay claim, Transformation and train prep dispute

Subject: RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2019 LONDON UNDERGROUND

That we instruct the General Secretary to organise a mass members meeting to discuss the following items:

  1. RMT 2019 Pay Submission and progress of talks with the company
  2. Transformations attacks on jobs and agreements affecting Transplant, Track Access Control, Power Control, Service Control, LUCC, Skills Development, Waste, Pumps, Stations Buildings & Civils and Signals Incidents
  3. Fleet Extended Train Preparation

Further, we instruct the General Secretary to organise the mass members meeting for a fortnights time in the large room in the Indian YMCA or at a similar venue if it’s not available; with the Lead Officer, National President, Senior Assistant General Secretary and members of the NEC in attendance, and to publicise the meeting widely amongst the membership via a leaflet, emails & texts.

All LU branches and the London Transport Regional Council to be advised.
