Alstom Bosses Held In Fraud Case

A BBC article reports how "Three directors of French transport and infrastructure group Alstom have been arrested in a UK corruption probe, the Serious Fraud Office says."

They've since been released without charge, but there is more on this story here.

"The SFO said in a statement it believed bribes had been paid in order to win foreign contracts."

The Guardian reports on this too: "The investigation centres on suspected bribes paid by companies within the Alstom group in the UK in order to win contracts overseas, and this has allegedly involved money laundering and other offences."
