RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2019 - ALSTOM METRO TRAINS (LUL/0001/AMT)

In line with Union policy, a pay claim for an increase in rates of pay and improvements to conditions of service was submitted to the Company. Following a series of negotiations, the Company made a final offer, which is as follows:-

• An 2.5% increase to basic rates of pay and an increased travel allowance from £1375 to £1400

Having noted the views of the Lead Officer and Representatives, that the offer falls considerably short of members' aspirations, the National Executive Committee has taken the decision to advise the Company that a dispute situation now exists between us over this issue. As always, we remain available for talks at ACAS to resolve this dispute however in the meantime, I would ask that all Branches ensure all members' details are correct as necessary for a ballot for industrial action.
