Jubilee South branch - strike starts here London Bridge 1830 July 8

To kick off the strike action on London Underground the Jubille Branch will be having a picket line at London Bridge station on Wednesday July 8 at 1830.

Please make every effort to attend and serve notice to LUL that this strike will be supported by all the workers 100%

The branch will sit prior to the demo at The Blue Eyed Maid, Borough High St , nearest stations London Bridge and Borough.

Demo: End Austerity Now

Dear Colleagues,

The proposed Tory anti-union laws would outlaw strikes if less than 50% of members voted in a ballot with an even stricter threshold for workers in ‘essential’ services. If these laws come in unchallenged, bosses will ride roughshod over all our workplace agreements and victimise our union reps.

It is now vital we mobilise on the streets for 20th June demo outside the Bank of England (Queen Victoria St) City of London (nearest tube: Bank) and show the full force of anti-austerity opinion by ensuring this demonstration is the biggest protest seen in London for years.

This meeting has been called so that candidates and supporters of TUSC in the RMT can come together to review the election and discuss what way forward for working class political representation.

Nominations open for LU MATS Rep

Roy Carey has recently stood down from the role of MATS Rep for Tfl No.1 & LU MATS Branch on 11th May 2015.

The Branch has elected DTSM Lorna Tooley in the interim

We would like to open this position for nominations (for MATS LU Operational grades only)

The nominee must be in attendance at the next meeting to be held on 8th June 5pm at The Crown Pub, 108 Blackfriars Roadd, London SE1 8HW
