RMT calls on London mayor to ensure cleaners wages are paid

Subject: NON-PAYMENT OF WAGES – PREMIER WORK SUPPORT (ABM CONTRACT)

That we note the completely unacceptable treatment of our cleaner members; getting paid on time for work done is one requirement that is sacrosanct to all our members, and we will not allow this non-payment of wages to continue or responsibility for this to be avoided by Premier Work Support or ABM via some paper-thin manoeuvre, where each blame the other and our members rights fall down between the two!

ABM threaten RMT over job massacre article

Subject: STAFFING LEVELS – ABM (LONDON UNDERGROUND CONTRACT)

Threats from ABM Regarding Alleged “Defamation”!

That we note a letter has been received from the Company, that while not directly refuting our position that ABM are seeking to reduce the workforce by almost a third, makes the direct threat “to take further action” against the union if we address this issue in a publication ever again!

DLR ISS members congratulated as pay offer is accepted

Subject: BREACH OF MACHINERY – ISS (KAD CONTRACT)

We congratulate our Members, Docklands Light Railway Branch and the Lead Officer for both the struggle and tenacity needed in securing this pay offer in difficult
circumstances.

We instruct the General Secretary to inform the company of our acceptance of this offer.

The Docklands Light Railway Branch and London Transport Regional Council to be advised.

Defend Bro Fasoro

We note the report from our Lead Officer regarding the thinly disguised disgraceful third party interference by ABM which led to the sacking of Bro Fasoro by his agency Premier Work Support for trades union activity; and put on record now that the RMT will consider every avenue to ensure our brothers ability to undertake lawful trades union activity is remedied and he is reinstated without any detriment.
