REMOVAL OF DETRAINMENT STAFF, WATERLOO, WATERLOO & CITY LINE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/10)
The following resolution has been received from the Central Line East Branch:-
16th July 2018
BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, PICCADILLY LINE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)
Subject: REMOVAL OF DETRAINMENT STAFF, WATERLOO, WATERLOO & CITY LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND
We note the resolution from our Central Line East Branch; and that this cost cutting exercise by the company is putting passengers lives at risk and our members safety at risk.
We instruct the General Secretary to advise the company a dispute now exists between our respective organisations and to arrange a ballot for action short of a strike for all Leytonstone Depot Train Operators and Operator Instructors but excluding Night Tube Drivers.

LUL/14/2
We congratulate our negotiations team and Lead Officer on achieving vast movement from the company in all four items of this dispute.
None of this would have been remotely possible without the crushing pressure of the strike mandate and proposed strike dates which our Train Operator Members in both Finsbury Park and Piccadilly & District West branches delivered.

Further to previous correspondence, all Piccadilly Line Driver members are congratulated for the solid yes vote for both strike action and action short of a strike in this dispute. We note the report from the Lead Officer regarding the proposal from management.
We congratulate our Members, Negotiations Team, Lead Officer and both Jubilee Line Branches on fighting for and achieving this proposal from the company that addresses the issues of the dispute by returning the rest days management took away as a consequence of their imposed roster which will now be returned under our current agreements.
Further, we instruct the General Secretary to write to the company advising them of our acceptance of the proposal and that we are no longer in dispute.
