The reason is that your reps are still consulting with the company on issues that will affect all working streams. These are around principles of redeployment, protecting roles, mitigating redundancy and how roles will be filled. 

 

Industrial action called in pay parity dispute

PAY PARITY, TRANSPLANT MAINTENANCE & STORES STAFF – LONDON UNDERGROUND (EX-AP JNP) 

We note the report from our Lead Officer who has consulted directly with our members and representative; that the talks with the company have not reached a satisfactory outcome. WeWinstruct our member to take the following Industrial Action Short of a Strike commencing at 00:01 on Wednesday 14th February 2018 in the form of:

48 hours of strike action goes ahead on DLR over breakdown in industrial relations

RMT cleaners, security staff and travel safe officers on Docklands Light Railway will be taking part in a further 48 hour phase of strike action from today over a comprehensive breakdown in industrial relations after talks failed this week due to the intransigent attitude of the management. The workers are employed by contractor ISS on the KAD contract.

Station Admin Update

Your RMT reps, along with reps from the other Unions, met with Stations Admin staff on 30/01/18 to discuss the counter proposal which was submitted. This was a very useful meeting, filled with lots of passion and lots of valuable feedback.

 

Ballot prepared in DLR dispute

Subject: BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS – KEOLIS AMEY DOCKLANDS

We note the correspondence regarding the breakdown in industrial relations from our Lead Officer and Docklands Light Railway Branch; and commend our members on
their resolve to address this issue.

Further; we instruct the General Secretary to inform the company we are in dispute and prepare a ballot for industrial actions of all affected members. Members to be advised by email and text.
