Meeting called to discuss unacceptable facilities for Piccadilly Night Tube train drivers

MEAL RELIEF POINT, ARNOS GROVE DEPOT - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

The following resolution has been received from Finsbury Park Branch:-

“This Branch notes that despite some progress made in talks the meal relief point in Cockfosters Depot remains for our Night Tube members based at Arnos Grove. This location is unacceptable and we now call on the General Secretary to declare a dispute with LUL regarding this issue and ballot all night tube members at Arnos Grove for industrial action to resolve the issue.

This branch also notes and supports the request for a ballot for industrial action raised by our sister branch Picc and District West regarding unacceptable and dangerous detrainment arrangements at Heathrow T5 for our Night Tube members”.

This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee, which has taken the decision to arrange a meeting between our H&S and IR Reps, Lead Officer, Senior Assistant General Secretary and NEC members. This meeting has been arranged for Monday 15th July and I will keep Branches advised of all further developments.
