4-DAY WORKING WEEK, TRAIN OPERATORS - LONDON UNDERGROUND

The referendum concluded with an overwhelming rejection of the Company's proposals and I advised the Company that RMT now expects the proposals to be withdrawn (IR/127/25, 1st April 2025). Instead, the Company has arranged further meetings to discuss its proposals in more detail at Trains Functional Council level.

This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee, which has taken the decision to advise the Company that a dispute situation is in place. I have advised the Company accordingly and in line with the NEC decision, I will also be preparing a ballot matrix of all Train Operator and Instructor Operator members.
