TERMINATION OF AMEY MAINTENANCE CONTRACT – TUBE LINES AP JNP (LUL/15/10)

The Company recently issued a communication to Tube Lines AP JNP members advising of its intention not to extend the current contract with Amey for the management of maintenance activities across the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines from the end of 2017.

Further to my previous Circular (IR/196/16, 15^th July 2016), members will recall the previous National Executive Committee to organise a meeting of Stations Reps to review the implementation of Fit for the Future – Stations to discuss our strategy, including possible industrial action.

Further to my previous Circular (IR/212/16, 29^th July 2016), the ballot papers were posted out to affected members on Tuesday 9^th August and the closing date for this ballot is Tuesday 23^rd August 2016. I will keep you advised of all further developments.

RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2016 – ALSTOM METRO TRAINS (LUL/0001/AMT)

In line with Union policy, a claim was submitted for a substantial increase in rates of pay and improvements to conditions of service. Following negotiations, the offer from received from the Company is as follows:-

NIGHT RUNNING – LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/15/4)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/200/16, 19^th July 2016), I informed the Company of the dispute situation between us over the proposed rosters for Victoria Line Train Operator and Instructor Operator members. Since then, further meetings have taken place with the Company and RMT Reps. LUL has offered an additional review of the new rosters after eight weeks although Reps can also continue to raise any immediate concerns in the usual way.

I am in receipt of correspondence from the Company, in which it confirms the Supervisor pay uplift from 1^st April 2016 as follows:-

In line with Union Policy, a claim for an increase in pay and improved terms and conditions has been submitted. Negotiations have concluded and the following offer has been tabled:-

In line with union policy, a claim for an increase in pay and improved terms and conditions has been submitted. The Lead Officer has met with the company and the following offer has been tabled:-

• ·         An initial offer of 0.75% of the pay bill (£225m) as a base pay rise to be distributed via the Pay for Performance arrangements for Pay Bands 1-3.

Further to my previous Circular (IR/243/15, 13^th October 2015), I can report that TfL has imposed a pay award without agreement from the trade unions. Meetings between the Company and the Union’s negotiating team are now being scheduled and I shall report back any further developments as they arise.
