RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2025 – LONDON UNDERGROUND

I wrote to you yesterday (3rd September) following the talks with London Underground, stating that no new offer has been made and therefore the strike action would remain on.

I received correspondence from London Underground this morning, claiming to be a new offer – and this is a claim that they have gone on to make in the media today. 

However, it is not a new offer, it is simply a rehash of what they have previously offered, and it remains the case that it does not meet the aspirations of RMT members at the company. Not only have they just re-worded or re-stated their previous offers, but they have now also adopted a belligerent tone in an attempt to interfere in the internal democratic process of your union.

If and when a new and improved offer is made, we will consult with our membership in a manner we see fit. We will not be dictated to on how we engage with our membership - a membership who overwhelmingly voted in favour of strike action in your recent ballot on this matter.
