WEA Course: Dealing With The Media

Do you want to be more confident dealing with the media?

This course will equip you to understand the media, to develop a basic media strategy, to select which media to target, to make stories appealing to journalists and to give media interviews.

An excellent opportunity for any organisation, group or individual!

3 consecutive Wednesdays: February 26th, March 5th, March 12th - 1pm – 5.30pm (13 hours)

Cost: £51.35 per attendee

About the tutor Symon Hill
Symon Hill has worked as media officer for groups including the Campaign Against Arms Trade and the Jubilee Debt Campaign. He has trained students, environmental activists, faith groups, mental health campaigners and others in media engagement. His latest book is Digital Revolutions: Activism in the internet age (published by New Internationalist).
