As the TfL board meet in Palestra to discuss the proposed funding deal, RMT Regional Organiser Jared Wood joins the protest outside.

Unlike other European capitals the Government is refusing to provide proper funding for London Transport. As a result, our public transport could be on the brink of collapse. There are already cuts to services and staffing on bus and tube.

Transport infrastructure work is being delayed or cancelled. Worse could come with the closure of London Underground lines and sky-rocketing fares. Our city will become more polluted and less accessible. Inequality will increase and our economy will suffer.
