Tube Lines Strike Suspended For Meetings On Pension & Travel Equality

We note the report of our representatives’ meeting, and further note that a meeting with the employer is due to take place on 8 March regarding our demands for travel equality, and a further meeting towards the end of March regarding our demand for pensions equality.

Accordingly, and in line with our representatives’ wishes, we maintain the current suspension of industrial action, continue to pursue our previous decisions regarding management’s costing exercise, and instruct the General Secretary to place this matter back in front of us following the 8 March meeting or in the event of any other developments.

We remain willing to resume industrial action should these meetings not bring about a successful resolution of this long-running and important dispute.

London Transport Regional Council, branches and Tube Lines representatives to be advised.
