Stations Admin Update

Your Transformation reps were due to meeting today (27/03/18) with London Underground, however, this meeting has been postponed until Thursday 29th March. We will give you a full update after that meeting, but this is the latest update.

As you will all know by now, the company rejected your counter proposal and are insisting on implementing the model in their Business Case. They have shared their desired locations with the unions, and your reps have visited these locations to check their suitability and offer initial feedback.

We have attended a meeting with London Underground at Directors Level, where we again urged them to reconsider their Business Case and follow the advice in the counter proposal. At this meeting, we were told that the company does not expect the new model to be imposed until July. There was also a reps meeting at RMT Head Office, where we explained to stations and other reps, the impact that Transformation will have on them and best ways that we can support each other.

We are vehemently opposed to the splitting and re-organisation of Stations Admin and believe it will be detrimental to many staff. We would urge all Station Admin members to discuss next steps with us, by attending Branch meetings and contacting your Transformation reps. It is vital that all issues and queries are raised through the Transformation reps.

They are Kelly Berry, Mick James, Paul O’Brien, Phil Rigby-Faux, Danni Rogers & Lorna Tooley
