The following RMT Education courses will be taking place in our region in the near future. The introductory reps course is ideal for newly elected reps (all types) who have not completed their Stage One TUC or RMT course. It is also of great value to activists, who may wish to be a rep in the future and to help build a stronger workplace. All courses are funded by head office, so there is no cost to the branch or the region.
Those wishing to attend should complete the attached form and return it to me. For those unable to secure paid release, head office will pay loss of earnings. Reasonable travel and food expenses will also be paid.
Almost all RMT courses are accredited, so delegates will receive a nationally recognised qualification, which they can use towards further study. Courses are likely to be held in Clapham.

Any course which is available at the National Education Centre in Doncaster can be offered in our region. Popular ones include Communication, Organising and Campaigning.
If you have any members interested in a course not listed above or on a different date, please ask them to get in touch with me and I will contact them as soon as we have enough delegates to run a course.

Also, if you would like me to visit your branch to better explain some of the courses on offer and the benefits of attending, I will be very happy to do so.
