RMT Regional Organiser Steve Hedley says: "It must be said that in some other places ASLEF have fought beside the RMT to get these increases. This begs the question why did the ASLEF leadership refuse to back the RMT on London Underground and even tell their members to cross picket lines. We have nothing but the highest regard for those ASLEF members who refused to cross our pickets (truly lions led by donkeys) but we urge them to question their leadership's actions, motives and behaviour on the Underground."
