2009-2010 Pay Deal for Staff at London United

The new 2009 - 2010 pay deal was accepted by drivers at London United on the recommendation of a sister union. The vote was 523 in favour and 234 against.The hourly rates are as follows:

  • Monday - Friday (0700-2000hrs)

Established Drivers (ED) pay goes up by 46 pence from £11.54 to £12.00

Probationary Drivers (PD) pay goes up 24p from £10.38 to £10.62

  • Monday - Friday (2001-0659hrs)

ED pay goes up 24p from £11.79 to £12.03

PD pay goes up 24p from £10.38 to £10.62

  • Saturday

ED pay goes up 24p from £11.79 to £12.03

PD pay goes up 24p from £10.38 to £10.62

  • Sunday

ED pay goes up 25p from £12.48 to £12.73

PD pay goes up 26p from £11.18 to £11.44

Overtime and Work Rest Day pay rates are equalised for both established and probationary drivers at the following rates: Monday - Friday at £12.64, Saturday at £14.56 and Sunday at £15.18.

Weekly Holiday pay for Established drivers goes up by £12.46 from £479.39 to £491.85. Probationary drivers Holiday pay goes up by £9.94 from £423.14 to £433.08.

Weekly Sick Pay for established drivers goes up by £6.16 from £262.08 to £268.24.

Night Bus Duty pay is at the Sunday rate and the Night Bus Duty payment is frozen at £8.00. Entitlements to QIC payments cease. A change of wording to the "late into break" agreement and a one off lump sum payment of £55.00 to all driving staff on the company payroll on 31st October 2009.
