Further to my previous Circular (IR/39/17, 31st January 2017), the Company has been advised that a dispute situation also exists due to management’s failure to guarantee that Operational Managers with an ETO licence will be included in the pay parity agreement.
 

Due to a breakdown in industrial relations with management and the ongoing attacks at various levels. This branch call on the General secretary to advise LUL that we are now in dispute and instruct the NEC TO Ballot “ALL” LUL fleet members for strike action and action short of strike.

This action has been called due to management breaching the agreed machineries, our Main agreement, and long standing local agreements, namely

BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS – LONDON UNDERGROUND (FLEET GRADES) (LUL/14/2)

The following resolution was recently received from LU Fleet Branch:-

The RMT have achieved a significant victory in the Tube Lines Pay, Pensions and Night Tube disputes. A good pay deal has been secured, as well as pension parity for all Tube Lines members.  This long running dispute has been won because of the hard work of RMT activists and representatives.

BREACH OF CORE WORK AGREEMENT, CONTRACTING OUT AND USE OF SECONDARY SUBCONTRACTORS – FLEET GRADES – LUL (LUL/13/1)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/144/16, 19^th May 2016), the Company was informed that a dispute situation existed between us over the above issue and the following resolution has now been received from our LU Fleet Branch:-

“This Branch calls upon the National Executive Council to call a ballot for strike action and for action short of a strike for all LU Fleet members.

DISCIPLINARY/SPAD PROCEDURE, SHUNTERS – TUBE LINES AP JNP (LUL/4/4)

Further to my previous Circular (Ref: IR/212/16, 29^th July 2016), I advised you of the magnificent vote of our members in favour of taking industrial action. A subsequent meeting of our relevant representatives was held at Unity House at which it was reported that the two disciplinary cases had now been dealt with at the appeal stage and our members were happy with the outcome.
