The recent TfL financial review has made it clear to all London Underground members that we are all going to have to fight hard for our jobs, terms and conditions, pensions and benefits. The government, the Mayor’s office and London Underground management are determined that the financial burden of the COVID 19 crisis will fall on London’s workers in general and on London Underground staff in particular.
Central Line East branch is holding an em,ergency branch meeting on 17th February at 4pm, following the unfair dismissal of RMT rep Gary Carney.
Local reps will have the Zoom details for the meeting and will be able to supply it on request.

DISCIPLINARY - CARNEY GARY, TRAIN OPERATOR, LONDON UNDERGROUND - (LUL/4/4)
Dear Colleagues,
TFL PENSION FUND - INDEPENDENT REVIEW
You will be aware that the RMT sent an email to our LUL members on 4th January 2021 outlining our disgust and opposition to the findings of the Independent Panel Review in respect of the TfL Pension Fund. As you will recall the Independent Panel Review makes the assumption that the TfL Pension Fund is expensive, outdated and must be reformed, a suggestion that this union totally rejects.
