I am pleased to advise you that we will be holding the RMT Young Members’ Conference in Liverpool on Friday 26th February & Saturday 27th February 2010, with a social event being held at 1900 on Thursday 25th February 2010.

Branches are invited and encouraged to submit resolutions to the conference. These must be relevant to Young Members in the union.

Each Branch and Regional Council are invited to nominate up to four delegates to attend conference, delegates must be no older than 30 years of age at the start date of the conference. Please indicate on the nomination form if any delegate requires assistance with childcare.

The relevant Branch & Regional Councils must pay delegates’ loss of earnings and travel expenses.

The deadline has passed for resolutions to the conference.However, Emergency Resolutions may still be submitted to the Conference Liaison Committee before the start of the conference.

Nominations for delegates must be received by the 29th January 2010

I urge every branch and regional council to find a delegate to attend the conference, to continue to build the future of our union.
