The new issue of our 'RMT London Calling' newsletter reports on next week's industrial action on Tube Lines and Docklands Light Railway, and on the approaching ballot of London Underground members.

It also reports on RMT's victory on ill-health pensions, our campaigning to bring London Overground (including the extended East London Line) into public ownership, John McDonnell's Bill to stop injunctions against strikes for technical trivialities, and RMT's plans to participate in the LGBT Pride march on 3 July.

The new issue of 'RMT London Calling' gives lots of facts and arguments against London Underground's plan to cut 800 jobs. It also celebrates the end of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with the return of Tube Lines to public ownership, while warning TfL not to make workers pay the price.

The new issue of 'RMT London Calling' newsletter spells out the details of how miserly LUL's and TfL's pay offers are, and how poorly they compare to rises enjoyed by company directors and even by other workers.

RMT spent ten hours in talks with London Underground management yesterday (Monday 8 June). We made many proposals and offered many opportunities for management to settle our dispute with them, but sadly, at the end of a long day all London Underground offered was more talks.
