Strike action named in Transplant 'train prep payment' dispute

Subject: TRAIN PREPARATION PAYMENTS, TRANSPLANT MAINTENANCE STAFF – LONDON UNDERGROUND (ex-AP JNP)

We congratulate our members for taking solid strike action again over the weekend just gone; and note the correspondence from our Lead Officer and IR Rep.
In light with our members determination to bring the company to the negotiations table with an acceptable offer; we instruct our Members (Advanced Train Maintainers,
Duty Maintenance Managers & Team Leaders (Train Maintenance)) to take Industrial Action in the form of a Strike on the following shifts:

  • 07:00hrs on Wednesday 22nd August to 07:00hrs on Friday 24th August 2018 (48hrs).
  • 19:00hrs on Friday 24 th August to 19:00hrs on Sunday 26 th August 2018 (48hrs).

To comply with legislations, continuous overtime and rest day working ban should continue from 19:01 hours on Sunday 26 th August 2018.

Members to be advised by email and text.

LU Fleet Branch and the London Transport Regional Council to be advised.
