RMT London Transport Regional Council has decided to set up an Olympics sub-committee. The purpose of this is to highlight the issues facing our members during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, monitor the various employers’ plans, and campaign for a decent bonus and to prevent the introduction of casualised forms of working.

It is very important that members in all areas of London Transport are represented on this sub-committee. So the Regional Council asks all branches to nominate at least one member (more is fine!) to this sub-committee.

We have asked branches to discuss this at their next meeting. So if you are interested in being part of this, please contact your branch secretary and/or attend your next branch meeting.
