RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023 - KEOLIS AMEY DOCKLANDS (DLR/0001/KAD)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/247/23, 11th August 2023), the Lead Officer and Reps met with the Company and a revised offer was tabled:  

A 4.75% no-strings increase, effective from 1st April 2023

A discretionary one-off cost of living payment of £1000 (subject to tax and NI deductions)

The National Executive Committee took the decision to conduct an e-referendum of all KAD members, which closed on Thursday 31st August with the following result:

• Question: Are you prepared to accept the Company's offer?

Total Votes Cast:                          460

Number Voting Yes:                      178

Number Voting No:                        282

The National Executive Committee has noted the clear rejection of the Company's offer and taken the decision to seek an updated report from the Lead Officer. I will keep Branches advised of all further developments.
