COVID-19 ABSENCES, UNVACCINATED STAFF PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS - KEOLIS AMEY DOCKLANDS (DLR/5/5)

The following resolution was received from our Docklands Light Railway Branch:

“I raise a motion to oppose the policy of KAD to withhold contractual sick pay from staff who have to self-isolate due to contact with someone with Covid19 and have not been fully vaccinated.”

Your National Executive Committee has considered the resolution and took the following decision: -

“We note the resolution from our DLR branch and instruct the General Secretary to place a report from our lead officer in front of the NEC as a matter of urgency.

LTRC and DLR Branch to be informed.”

A report is being sought from the lead officer. I trust this keeps you fully advised and I will inform branches of any further developments on this issue.
