A number of industrial relations problems have arisen at Serco Docklands which have been reported to the General Grades Committee by the lead officer and the following decision has been taken:-

“That we note the report from DLR Branch Secretary and the report from our Lead Officer. SERCO – DLR have not only imposed this restructuring, they have acted unilaterally with the implementation of the 3 carriages agreement and the closure of the pension scheme to new entrants. In line with our previous decision a meeting has already been arranged with our representatives where a co-ordinated response can be considered.”

Once this meeting has been held in line with the above decision I shall keep members fully advised of developments.
