SOLIDARITY WITH STRIKERS - Morning Star Public Rally, Weds 10 August 2022

Senior Assistant General Secretary Eddie Dempsey will be speaking at the Morning Star rally SOLIDARITY WITH STRIKERS at the Indian YMCA (41 Fitzroy Square, London W1T 6AQ) on Wednesday 10 August 2022.
Other speakers include Mick Whelan (ASLEF), Daniel Kebede (NEU), Ruth Hayes (Unite), Helen O'Connor (GMB), Sarah-Jane McDonagh (TSSA), John Hendy QC and Ben Chacko (Morning Star editor).
The event will be held between 18:30-20:30 and will also be livestreamed on facebook.com/morningstaronline.

Rail union, RMT demanded urgent intervention from Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) today, following a serious escalation in violent and anti-social behaviour across Southern and Gatwick Express services.
Transport union, RMT has warned the Labour government that any attempt to drastically raise the state pension age beyond 68 would be met with strong resistance, including coordinated protests and direct action from across the trade union movement.
