What is the likelihood of pay cuts?

If London Underground bosses plans go ahead nearly a thousand people will lose their job. This union is balloting for industrial action to stop these devastating cuts.

The diagram below shows the number of people in current roles and in the planned new role.

As this plan is about cutting costs, it would be unlikely that people will earn more. There is a plan for two grades of Customer Service Agent. One is described as being operational and the other purely for customer service so it could be presumed that one if not both would earn less than at current.

However as of writing this answer (30/11/13) the new rates haven't been revealed, but we'll be publishing any information we can as soon as we receive it. As LUL have announced how much these plans cuts will save, they must have an idea of what rates of pay would be in order for them to make such calculations.
