Transplant 'train prep payment' action suspended

Subject: TRAIN PREPARATION PAYMENTS, TRANSPLANT MAINTENANCE STAFF – LONDON UNDERGROUND (ex-AP JNP)

That we note the report from the Lead Officer following a members meeting at Ruislip Depot; where members held the unanimous view that their current industrial action short of a strike should be suspended.

The feeling is that the new management team put in place late summer this year have improved relations in the depot; and taking the action off may provide a better environment for resolving this issue.

We salute our members for the rock solid strike action they have taken and the overtime ban they have all observed together.

We instruct the General Secretary to advise the company; and our members to work normally.

Further; we instruct the General Secretary to update this NEC of progress made in resolving this issue, and to write to all members in the meantime congratulating them for their steadfast unity and determination.

Members to be advised by email and text.

LU Fleet Branch and the London Transport Regional Council to be advised.
