The RMT is balloting for industrial action as we want to stop these devastating cuts and changes.
This LUL 'stations info pack' document says "For Duty Station Managers, Station Control Room Assistants, and Station Assistant Multi-functionals, we propose that you will have the opportunity to apply for a new role" (page 14 of this pdf).
It appears that LU plans for 666 Customer Service Supervisor roles with 1205 SAMFs and 245 SCRAs losing their positions - so clearly many won't get the CSS job.
The change assurance plan says "Customer Service Staff may be assigned to any location to undertake specific train service activities" (page 15 here).
The RMT believe these plans will benefit nobody and are purely about cutting costs. Vote yes for industrial action and we can fight back against the changes.
