Dear colleagues

It is with deep regret that I advise of the passing of Brother Brian Munro this morning, following a long battle with illness.

As a deeply committed member of the Union with over 20 years service, his loss will be felt by all. A former Secretary of the London Transport Regional Council and the current Secretary of the Bakerloo Line Branch, Brian worked tirelessly to negotiate, campaign and organise on behalf of his members.

Brian was a Drivers’ Representative for many years and attended the Annual General Meeting on numerous occasions, including last year’s Conference in Brighton.

Brian was successfully elected to serve on the Council of Executives from 1st January this year.

Our sympathy and thoughts are with Brian’s partner, children, family and friends during this difficult time.
