IMPORTANT UPDATE ON TALKS – REVISED OFFER RECEIVED FROM LUL
A new offer from London Underground was recieved today (Thursday, 21st) at ACAS negotiations for the Pay, Night Tube and Every Job Matters (Fit for the Future: Stations) dispute. You can read it in full below. A meeting has been called to discuss the offer - details to be comfirmed.

Today myself with senior RMT reps met LUL at acas for the second day in this week's talks
A new proposal for Train Operators ref Night tube working / reduced hours /pilot for 4 day 36 hour week / Freeze on weekends working was placed on the table.
Stations.... a lengthy discussion also took place on outstanding issues on FFFS. Some new proposals were made and we have made some progress on these matters, but serious issues on rosters remain.
We further discussed Service Control outstanding matters relating to work life balance.

Dear RMT members
All day today (Tuesday) myself and senior RMT reps met LUL at ACAS. We dealt with the outstanding issues for members on Every job matters /FFFS and the pay and night tube offer and it's impact on Train Operators.
An RMT spokesperson said; "Late last night RMT reps received a guarantee from the LU chief rolling stock engineer that the root cause of the fault on the Piccadilly Line doors has been identified and tests to assure the safety of the fleet by the appropriate specialists have been carried out.
"An enhanced system check for door engine failures will be introduced with immediate effect . RMT reps will continue to take part in additional investigations on the failure this morning.
DISCIPLINARY, GLEN HART – LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/4/4)
Further to my previous Circular (IR/261, 29th October 2015), the National Executive Committee has considered a report from the Lead Officer and also noted from the LTRC that there is strong support for Glen from our members across all London Underground grades and taken the decision to conduct a ballot for strike action and action short of a strike.
London Underground wants to close the 11 remaining ticket offices on the network, including Queen’s Park and stations north on the Bakerloo Line. They have to conduct a public consultation before doing so; RMT is fighting for the ticket office to remain open, and asking passengers to contribute to the consultation to express their opposition to closure.

Today myself with senior RMT reps met LUL with the other unions at acas .We have laid out our demands on all the issues effected and told the company that unless good progress is made the strikes will take place and further industrial action could be called. LUL listened to our presentations and the talks are adjourned until next week. When all parties have agreed to continue discussions. As soon as we have further updates I will report back.
