RMT allocates members to branches, which organise union activity in a defined area, or 'sphere of influence'. In London Transport region, there are 17 branches, organising in the following areas:

THAMES RIVERBOATS BRANCH

• This branch rarely attends Regional Council meetings and has not held any branch meeting that I am aware of in the past three years. The former branch secretary is deceased. I therefore recommend that if a new branch secretary is not forthcoming then this branch is amalgamated into another branch.

TRANSPORT FOR LONDON No.1 BRANCH

• London Underground Ltd managers, duty managers and administrative staff (except as listed under LU Engineering and LU Fleet branches)
