DISMISSAL – D STOREY, TRAIN OPERATOR, WEST RUISLIP – LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/4/1)

Further to my circular IR/395/16 of 19^th December 2016, the NEC further considered the matter just before Christmas. Having met with our reps to discuss the dispute the NEC decided to suspend the industrial action called from Christmas Eve.  However the action called for Monday 9^th January 2017 remains on.

STATION STAFFING & SAFETY ARRANGEMENTS, POST-IMPLEMENTATION OF FIT FOR THE FUTURE – LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/5)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/386/16) 9^th December 2016 on the above matter, the overtime ban remains on and has been well supported by our members, who should be congratulated for taking action.

CHANGES TO TRAINS OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT – LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/15/4)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/337/16, 10^th November 2016), regarding London Underground’s proposal to remove the DTSM and TOSM grades and replace them with a new grade called Trains Manager, a Reps meeting has taken place and discussions with LUL are on-going in relation to proposed pay bands, locations and other matters.

Further to my previous Circular (IR/317/16, 26th October 2016), the Reps meeting took place on Monday 31st October and the National Executive Committee has taken the decision to declare a dispute with LUL over this matter and to ballot members for strike action and action short of a strike.
