All RMT women are welcome to join us for an informal lunch. This is your opportunity to meet other women members in a friendly setting and discuss any issues which matter to you as a female transport worker.

So, what's on your mind? Job cuts? Management bullying? Discrimination? Working in a male-dominated industry? Balancing work and family responsibilities? Sexual harassment? Sexist comments? Pregnancy? Health and safety? Menopause? Safe travel to and from work?

Or perhaps you are not experiencing problems with any of these issues, but would enjoy the company of other RMT women over lunch!

Our special guest will be Kerry Hamilton, Professor of women and transport at the University of East London. Kerry is Britain's premier academic expert on women and transport, and has a wide knowledge of women's transport experiences whether as passengers or workers. Her presence at our lunch will be a chance for us to pick her brains, and a chance for her to hear our experiences and issues.
